Who are you?

A logo by itself is not a brand. Your brand is everything about you - your reputation, your promise to your customers. It's what people think of when they hear your name. It pervades everything, and if you've developed a bad brand by giving poor customer service or selling shoddy products, no logo design in the world can help you.

Having said that, most people think of visual identity when they think of a brand. We'll develop a logo, color palette, and tagline, and deliver a Style Guide to help you keep your branding consistent.

The digital age can be daunting at times, but print still very much has a place in a modern business. We create pieces that stand out in these oldies-but-goodies, and that also integrate with your digital marketing to help drive traffic to your website landing pages. After helping to break the drought of over 12 years of non-sold-out festivals in 2013, the pressure was on for a successful encore for the 2014 Virginia Cantaloupe Festival. Putting our creative minds together in a marathon brainstorming session, we created the theme You've Got Friends in Lope Places and introduced a character we created named Lope.

For as long as we've been working with the tourism office, director Linda Shepperd has wished for some type of animation that would let visitors "drive" around the county to discover things. Using animation that requires no special browser plugins, illustrator Erin Kipps Brown came up with a concept to treat the project like a theme park map. Requiring no special plugins, it can be displayed on all devices.

When we were invited by Virginia's Department of Housing and Community Development to speak about marketing to Virginia Main Street Community directors from across the state, we needed something helpful to give them to take back to the office. Our Quicky Guide to Social Media ended up being quite a hit! This poster is different from anything we've ever seen: It has dry erase blocks to let the user jot notes for planning their social media. The poster is 11"x17" - large enough to accommodate the dry erase blocks but small enough to not take up too much of the user's office wall.

Longwood Small Business Development Center serves 22 Southern Virginia counties and 6 cities, providing education, consulting, and economic research to support potential and existing small business owners. We created their first-ever Annual Report - 20 pages that included client success stories, new initiatives, partnerships information, and financial information. Deliverables included print-ready files, low resolution pdf files for download, and an online interactive flipping book.

We created a Shop Local website for Virginia's largest geographic economic development region. Shoppers can buy from multiple vendors in one transaction, proceeds are distributed automatically into vendors' payment accounts, and each vendor receives their own order information.

Southern Virginia Regional Alliance required a new site to replace one that was developed in 2011. Since they lacked a good library of relevant photographs, our design uses minimal photography combined with animated odometer-style statistics and clear traffic funnels for targeted visitors.

Web design and development for Stand Up For Salem / Main Street Salem, NJ, part of rebranding project. Site includes features like a donation system (one-time and recurring), and events system with capability for paid events with multiple ticket types and early bird discounts.

This custom Instagram module lets the clients display photos with specific hashtags that they have liked on their Instagram account, providing fresh content on a site while giving the client full control over what displays. It's a win-win campaign since local businesses who use the client's hashtag can gain great exposure for themselves.

This magazine won an Award of Merit for Communication from the Southern Economic Development Council. Virginia's Growth Alliance is geographically the largest economic development region in Virginia. They provide a printed quarterly quality of life magazine to prospects; the magazine is printed on glossy paper that is of the quality you would find on a magazine rack. A low-res version is also available for download on their website and for distribution on usb's.

As a part of the Halifax County IDA rebranding project, the organization needed a one-sheet data flyer for prospects. The piece is designed to present a good bit of data in a condensed format that provides a quick overview of the county, and integrated design elements extend the new branding identity.
